located on the ground floor of the Maison des Ambassadeurs is the impressive bar and lounge that opens on to both courtyards, inviting the cool breezes and afternoon sun into its comfortable and luxury common area.

The bar and lounge were the heart of an ambassador’s home where family and guests we rentertained with endless stories of travels and parties while drinking and eating with the warm glow of the fireplace. At the Maison des Ambassadeurs we have recreated this ambiance with inviting sitting areas designed around a central bar and the historic grand fireplace.
ARCO
Guests and locals mingle in a festive and welcoming atmosphere for afternoon tea or evening drinks. A fine selection of local wines and products celebrate La Rochelle's heritage, all accompanied by unmissable international dishes. Seasonal cocktails inspired by travels around the world make the bar a place where all ages can meet.
- The restaurant is opened from tuesday evening to sunday noon, from 12pm to 9pm
